I’m back. Again. I don’t know how many times I’ve said those two words insofar as my blogging is concerned. Nevertheless, this current return to blogging comes in the heels of a year-long sabbatical, an unplanned one at that. When I started blogging again before the first trimester of 2020 ended, I was coming off a five-year (or was it more?) break from blogging. I told myself I would not waste the opportunity, that I will be a better blogger. So, what happened?

Blogging – A Forgotten Hobby?

Life happened. I decided to open a small online business, and I got sidetracked with its goings-on that I forgot about blogging. In fact, my last blog post prior to this one was dated 19 June 2020! So this latest blog is seven days short of my last post’s anniversary.

By the time I remembered that I revived this hobby, the domain had expired, and I had to go through the process to get started again. So this time, I do not promise anything, but I will be taking blogging one day at a time.

At this point, I feel that I need an outlet – to vent, to share, anything! I need some semblance of normalcy in my life, and I need some reprieve from my two jobs. Yes, you read that right – I have two jobs. Yay me! I work as a virtual assistant for a realtor based in Arizona, and I also work as a writer for a businessman based in Canada. The jobs are polar opposites, I tell you. However, I am not complaining. I enjoy both positions, but sometimes, things can get a little bit too much, you know?

Blogging – My Outlet

Hence, I need someplace where I can talk about what a crappy day I am having or how the article I was working on was extremely challenging. I also need a place where I can share my excitement over my latest thrift find or food discovery. So, here I am. Special mention to a friend I am fond of for “reminding” me that once a blogger, always a blogger.

I don’t want to say I’m back for good, I don’t want to spoil my comeback. However, I promise to be more active here. I missed this world. I missed this reality of my life. Besides, I still owe you guys a story on why my life drastically changed before 2018 ended.

So, join me in this crazy ride, as this will be one heck of it.
