Some weeks back, I posted a cover reveal for K. Bromberg’s upcoming novel, “Hard to Handle”. It’s another one of the New York Times bestselling author’s standalone books but is part of her “Play Hard” series. It’s a hockey romance, and as an avid reader of hers, I can guarantee you that this will be, well, “one for the books”. Ms. Bromberg has a way of weaving words together into a story that touches the deepest recesses of heart, and the tears I shed over some of her stories can attest to that.

Anyway, the video teaser for her latest book, which is set to be released on June 30th, was just released, and I wanted to share it you. If my posts about this book haven’t been enough to convince you to pre-order it, then this video teaser just might. *wink*

Book Trailer for Hard to Handle

Hard to Handle, book one in the Play Hard series, an all-new series of standalone books by New York Times bestselling author, K, Bromberg.

At first, the request seemed simple—sign a new athlete to the agency.

Then I found out the new athlete was none other than the most wanted man in hockey today: Hunter Maddox

Gifted. Sexy. At the top of his game. And the only man who has ever broken my heart.

If signing him will help save our family business, I’ll swallow my pride and do what’s asked.

But when it becomes clear his uncharacteristic antics off the ice are a hint of something deeper, keeping things strictly professional between us becomes more than complicated.

But I know better than to cross that line.

I’ll never date a client. Not even for him.

Win the Stanley Cup and do it before time runs out.

Not a small feat, but it’s what’s motivated me since the start of my career.

And time is running out.

Enter Dekker Kincade.

Feisty. Dogged. Damn gorgeous. The one I let get away.

I have no idea why she’s traveling with the team, but hell if resisting her is going to be easy.

But I have a job to do, and I refuse to lose sight of that end game. Even if she confuses me. Even if she sees parts of me I’ve hidden from the world.

I can’t lose focus. Not even for her.

Second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes, and I hope you guys are as excited as I am after watching that clip. I can hardly wait to see how Hunter and Dekker’s story will unfold. I have already marked this as “To Read” on Goodreads, and since I follow Ms. Bromberg on Instagram, I get regular updates not just regarding “Hard to Handle” but her other books, too, which works out well for me since I am a voracious reader.

I think I have always been one; I started reading books as a pastime and bugging my dad to buy me books as soon as I learned how to read on my own. And you can just imagine how much that hobby has developed over the years. Add to that, my current work situation makes it possible for me to feed my hobby anytime I want to.

Even before this whole quarantine thing happened, I’ve been relegated to my home being a freelancer and all that. So, I have plenty of time to get started (and actually finish in so short a time) with books like this one. The e-reader I installed in my laptop (yes, it’s there and not my phone) is packed with almost a thousand books from various authors who write consistently work on my favorite tropes. Hence, there isn’t a shortage of books I can delve into when I need a break from work.

Well, that’s it. I just wanted to share this awesome news that the book trailer for “Hard to Handle” is out. It certainly amped the excitement factor for the book. Until my next book-related post. Happy reading!
